Jack of all Trades.
NASA engineer. Touring partner with Steve Aoki. Creator of a social network dedicated to bringing foodies together, and traveling the world to, well…eat food. No this is not my personal bucket list, although I wouldn’t mind doing ALL of these things, but instead it is some of the life history of Brooklyn Earick, the latest guest on the Adapt Podcast.
I think a couple different themes popped out at me during this episode — ideas like having passion for your dreams and pushing until you achieve those dreams. And if something doesn’t work out — well at least you know you tried. Also the idea that you don’t have to pigeonhole yourself into what you should be doing, or feeling like you can’t do multiple things. There really is no barrier to our growth, it really comes down to having the vision and the internal motor to make those things a reality.
We had a blast with Brooklyn and the recording of this episode, and he really shows what you can achieve if you put your mind to it, all within a very humble package. I’m excited to dig into the new update of his Phoodie app (find me @design ;)). Time will only tell what is in store next for this guy…
